Launch is one of the largest automotive diagnostic equipment manufacturers in the world, with more than 30 years behind the X431 platform. The line runs from simple four-system code readers up to full workshop tablets with ECU coding, bi-directional control and CAN FD/DoIP support for the newest vehicles on the road.

Launch's consistent strength is coverage per euro - a broad make list and a full feature set at a price point that's hard to match model-for-model. If your workshop or garage sees a genuine mix of makes rather than specialising in one or two, Launch is usually the most economical route to real professional depth.

Making sense of the model names

  • CRP1xx series (CRP123X, CRP123E, CRP129E) - focused four- or multi-system code readers for private owners and home mechanics. Read, clear, live data, and on the E-series, core service resets.
  • CRP919 series (CRP919E, CRP919E Lite, CRP919X) - the step up to genuine full-system diagnostics with active tests and coding, in wired or wireless (BT) versions.
  • X431 PRO / PROS - Launch's professional workshop tablets, built for daily diagnostic work with the deepest coding and protocol support in the range.
