Like the rubber-valve version, the sensor ships blank and is programmed to the vehicle - cloned to match an existing sensor's ID or written as new and registered.

Metal or rubber valve?

Choose metal when the car originally had a metal valve from the factory, when the customer wants that look, or where the valve sees higher loads. Worth knowing one real drawback: the aluminium stem can corrode against an alloy rim over time if the sealing ring isn't replaced at every tyre change.

For most cars, the rubber-valve version is the cheaper and more forgiving choice.

Important - the sensor must be programmed
