Refund policy
Important before you buy: Obdera is an equipment seller, not a service centre. We provide no additional commercial warranty and no repair services. All equipment is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, administered by the manufacturer or its authorised service network. Your statutory rights under Lithuanian and EU consumer law are unaffected.
1. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Notify us in writing at tomasgelumbickas@gmail.com. The goods must be sent back within 14 days of that notice.
2. Condition of returned goods
Returned goods must be unused, undamaged and complete, in the original undamaged packaging, with all accessories, documentation and protective films. If value has been lost through handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature and functioning of the goods, that loss in value may be deducted from the refund.
3. Items that cannot be returned
- Activated devices whose activation irreversibly links the device to a user account or vehicle (for example an activated ThinkDiag, or a Launch or Autel device registered to an account, or a used activation code).
- Software licences, subscriptions and update packages once activated.
- Items with broken manufacturer seals.
Activation permanently reduces the value of the device and cannot be reversed by us or by the manufacturer.
4. Return costs and procedure
Where you withdraw without cause, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Please arrange any return with us by email first. Refunds are issued within 14 days of us receiving and inspecting the goods, using the same payment method you used.
5. Faulty goods and warranty
All items carry the manufacturer's warranty (the term is stated in each product description). Warranty claims are administered by the manufacturer's authorised service network; we will help you file the claim, but diagnosis and repair are carried out by that network. Consumers additionally retain the statutory seller liability for conformity of goods under the Lithuanian Civil Code.
The warranty does not cover mechanical damage, liquid damage, unauthorised repair or modification, faults caused by misuse or by non-manufacturer software, or naturally wearing parts such as batteries and cables.
6. Business customers (B2B) and equipment over EUR 2,000
Where the purchase is made in a company's name, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply and goods are not accepted back on a change of mind. B2B sales are final. B2B buyers receive the manufacturer's warranty only, to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
Equipment priced above EUR 2,000 is sold exclusively to business customers (companies or self-employed persons holding a business registration). Such orders are treated as B2B purchases and this section applies to them.
7. Out-of-court dispute resolution
Consumer disputes may be referred to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybine vartotoju teisiu apsaugos tarnyba, www.vvtat.lt) or through the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
