Launch X431 X-PROG 3 Immobilizer Programmer

Launch X431 X-PROG 3 is the immobiliser and key programming unit for Launch X-431 tablets. It reads and writes the chips the OBD port cannot reach — EEPROM, MCU and BMW CAS4+/FEM — and comes with the adapters for bench and in-car work. Supplied as the full kit, in its case.

What it does

• EEPROM and MCU read/write — over 1,000 chip types, growing with updates
• Key programming and all-keys-lost on supported vehicles, including VW/Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz
• BMW CAS4+ and FEM/BDC chip read/write and module replacement; BMW engine ISN reading
• Mercedes-Benz infrared key work and password calculation
• Engine and gearbox ECU cloning and replacement, including VW/Audi MQB engine ECUs
• Transponder chip reading and special key generation

What you need to work with it

• A Launch X-431 tablet. Works with X431 PRO V5.0, PROS V5.0, PRO3S+ V5.0, PRO TT, PRO3 ACE, PAD V and PAD VII. The X-PROG 3 cannot work standalone, and tablets from other brands are not supported.
• Not suitable for X431 V/V+ older than version 5.0, or the PROS V1.0.
• ECU and TCU cloning works best on PAD-series and IMMO tablets — ask us about yours.
• IMMO licence. The standard software covers German makes (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, Porsche). Key programming on over 100 other brands needs Launch's separate, paid IMMO function activation, which is not offered for every tablet — the X431 PRO V5.0 is not on its list, so ask us first.
